Barrel ageing asks brewers to make a simple trade off – cede control and tap a whole new world of flavour.

If our brewmaster Alistair Gillepsie had his way he’d just fill barrels with beer all day.

You see, Al loves cask beers, the traditional way of serving beers, which is why our barrel programme is coming along so nicely.
