International Beer Day
Hey beer lovers, this is just a friendly reminder that today is International Beer Day.
So yes, Beer-0-clock officially started at breakfast…
International Beer Day is a global event founded in 2007 and now celebrated in pubs, bars and backyards in more than 50 countries.
We think it should become a public holiday. After all, beer is consumed by millions of South Africans and adds to the social fabric of this country. And if braais have their own holiday then why not?
Some things to drink to:
- We’ve come a long way since the bad old days and now have more than just three beers to choose from.
- We should celebrate the craft beer movement.
- The emerging trend is the matching of foods with beers.
- The appreciation of both heritage and the new brews now available.
- The Taproom.
If you need any other reasons as to why beer is the best damn drink in the world then TAKE THIS QUIZ to test your beer knowledge and remember to pull into the Taproom today and do things right.
