SA on Tap: JHB
Since launching in 2012, SA on Tap has become a staple in the festival scenes of Joburg, Pretoria and Durban. Along with its staggering selection of South Africa’s finest craft beers, ciders, whiskeys and wines, patrons are treated to live entertainment and tons of delicious food from the gourmet food trucks in attendance.
This year’s festival in Joburg, held at the Old Parks Sports Club on March 28th, promises to be the biggest and best to date. With tons of space and dedicated child-minding areas, it will also be the most family friendly!
Pull in for live Super Rugby while you sip on beer from all over SA. Big screens and a full day of sport are sure to make for an exciting afternoon in the JHB sunshine.
Looking to step up your craft beer knowledge? SA on Tap is offering three, 45 minute courses lead by brewers and industry experts. These sessions include an in depth introduction to craft beer and its origins, the beer appreciation process, as well as some tips and tricks for homebrewers and those wanting to get into the art of beer making. There will also be time for a Q & A session, so start thinking up those questions! It’s not often you’ll have access to such a wealth of knowledge and experience.
Craft Liquor Merchants will be pouring the best of Devil’s Peak along with several more of your Western Cape favourites, so pop by the stand and see what we’ve been up to!
Tickets are available online, and there’s no guarantee there will be any left to sell at the door, so book yours now to avoid disappointment. With your ticket, you’ll also get to choose from one of four tasting glasses. The crafters barrel is our favourite!
So grab your ticket, pick a glass, and we’ll see you this Saturday, March 28th for SA on Tap!
